Sasha Jimenez French is a multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and community arts facilitator working in Eastern Ontario under the name Birdgirl Arts. Drawing from a background in music, dance, and choreography, her work is characterized by fluid linework, saturated colour, and a strong sense of movement. Inspired by native plant life, local lore, and the communities she works within, she creates immersive visual narratives that invite curiosity, connection, and joy.
Sasha’s solo show “Back Garden Bodega” is currently on view at Electric Gallery from September 19th to October 18th 2026.
Sasha will be featured at Electric Gallery in this year’s New Edinburgh Artists’ Studio Tour on September 26th and 27th 2026, 10am — 4pm.
